FREEDOM

FREEDOM

Constitution 101 by Douglas Gibbs
Constitution 101 focuses on the original intent of the language used to write the United States Constitution, influences on the Founding Fathers both historically and philosophically, and how those original principles are supposed to be applied in today’s political system.   Mr. Gibbs’s presentation provides a basic understanding of primary constitutional concepts, and five tools given to us by the Founding Fathers that may aid in the process of restoring the republic.  All ages will benefit from the presentation, which uses historical sources to support each argument, and presents the information in a comprehensible manner.

Laws of Nature and Nature’s God by Douglas Gibbs
Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God takes us all the way back to the teachings of John Locke, and his influence on the founding documents of the United States.  Natural Law dictates that our rights are endowed to us by our Creator, they are self-evident, we are entitled to them, and those rights are unalienable.  Mr. Gibbs explains during this presentation the definition of what a right is, and why the Founding Fathers mutually pledged to each other their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence.

Our Constitutional Republic – Have We Kept It? by Peter Knobloch
What is our American form of government? Why was this type of government chosen over other forms of government? Have we as a nation kept our original form of government? Have we lost our way? Today, a majority of American people believe that we are a democracy. The Founder Fathers never intended for us to have a democratic form of government. Mr. Knobloch focuses on the key principles of American constitutionalism, using the original words, writings, documents, and understanding of the Founding Fathers. Learn why the Framers chose our particular form of government and if we have kept it, and more importantly, what is required of us as a nation to maintain our unique and enduring form of government.

How to Help Your Misfit Children by Tyler Mason
Everybody goes through a stage in life where they are wide eyed and feel like they can take on the world.  In a society full of nay-sayers,  parents must be the greatest influence in helping their children realize their ultimate potential.

Counter Cultural Parenting by Nicholeen Peck
In a time when society’s messages for the family might not match parent’s and children are often confused by pop-culture voices, parents need to have absolute confidence in their parenting and communication.  Understanding culture and what has happened to our cultures can help families deliberately prepare their homes to withstand the whirlwinds of our day and fortify the hearts of the children against the attacks on their consciences. This class will share principles and skills parents can take home and use immediately to help their families succeed culturally.

The Power of Calm by Nicholeen Peck
“When I go speak to people around the country about the style of parenting I live in my home and the family culture I am passionate about, one of the biggest responses I get is, ‘I think I need self-government myself before I can teach it to my children.’ This is so true! It is hard to stay calm when you are under pressure and dealing with the stresses of raising children and living in our fast-paced world. In this class we talk about how fathers, mothers, and grandparents can tap into the power called ‘being calm.’ We also role play how you calm both yourself and your child down at the same time without having to lose your control. The first step to great parenting is getting yourself ready for the hard times which will inevitably come. Prepare for that future by listening and learning the power of calm.”
Help with Addiction by Aneladee Milne
One of your children or even you may be experiencing addiction. It is hard to understand how a substance can rule a life, change a personality and wreak havoc in the family. Understanding addiction doesn’t fix things but it can save a relationship. A little understanding goes a long way.
